Our History

SONGSTER™ Software was founded and created in 1997 byplatinum award-winning songwriter Christopher A. Landon. He began his mission in constructing and developing SONGSTER™ soon after realizing that no such software existed to meet his personal needs. After devoting more than six months in his quest for the perfect, well-integrated and organized system, SONGSTER™ was born. But the success of SONGSTER™ doesn't end here. In January of 1999, prolific songwriter and author Julie Rogers joined forces in masterminding the company and together reinforcing and executing a strategic plan in the efforts of marketing SONGSTER™. They have succeeded...

A skilled and seasoned songwriter, Christopher has written on numerous successful CD's, television shows and jingles. His roster of companies include BMG Music, Sony Music, Warner Chappell Publishing, Edel America Records, Paramount Pictures both domestically and internationally and is a member of the NPN (Nashville Publishers Network) and BMI.

Singer/songwriter with roots in classical music and a successful career as a singer and performer in pop, rock and jazz, Julie, a fifteen year member of BMI has earned her place in the music Industry. She's won several awards for writing and producing television commercials and having penned songs from rock to jazz to country, her efforts are currently focused as creator and writer of a new children's television series.
