GigAmerica has also built numerous relationships with equipment manufacturers, distributors, insurance providers, managers, A&R guys and the like to provide members with excellent resources that aren't easily accessible to the independent artist. At long last, musicians finally have one source to go to and, through GigAmerica.com; exposure has never been this efficient and easy.

The centerpiece of GigAmerica.com is our Gig-Swapping Network. Since the invention of the van and telephone, Gig-Swapping has allowed local groups the means to expand their fan-base to another region by playing with an out-of-town band in their hometown and visa versa. Simply put, it's the concept of "you open for us in our town and we'll open for you in yours." It's a time-tested method for growing an audience, a very important brick in the path to success. Up until now, Gig-Swapping could be difficult if you didn't know the bands in other towns. Then, after you finally made the contacts there was the added expense of long distance phone calls and postage for demo tape mailers.

GigAmerica.com has fine-tuned the Gig-Swap by giving our members access to an online database of thousands of bands covering all styles and genres. A GigAmerica band can check out songs, pictures, bios and tour dates of different artists, determine whom they want to play with, and then send a Gig-Swap Request Form directly to the group via E-mail. Our network actually assigns accountability to the process both on part of the bands and venues.

GigAmerica.com also allows local music fans, musicians and non-musicians alike, to take an active role in their music scene. We've got a Street Team of music lovers covering every scene in the country. Our Team is in the know and looks for the bands making the buzz and helps the up-and-coming groups start one. Through GigAmerica.com, the Street Team promotes local shows and helps their favorite bands get heard. They contribute music news, reviews and scene reports which are published on the GigAmerica website. In return, the Street Team receives lots of free music stuff like new CDs from cool groups on major and indie labels, comp passes into shows and merchandise from both GigAmerica and GigAmerica bands. There's even a cash reward for great commitment and recruitment successes.
