In November 2000, Laura was chosen to perform at the groundbreaking Rockrgrl Music Conference in Seattle, WA that featured artists Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls and Courtney Love. Her CD has already received excellent reviews (see www.gazettenet.com December 14th, 2000 "CD WORTH THE WAIT" by John Stifler) and has been requested by national and international radio stations. Her Iron Horse CD Release Party in Northampton, MA on December 19th, 2000 was a huge success and she was invited back for an encore performance. "The sound of Laura Wood's Acoustic Rock Band is as large and lovely as an orchestral tidal wave" said one attendee.
