We're starting a Drunk Stuntmen Yahoo Group for fans of Rock and Roll. Go join at Yahoo today! We will be talking about the Stuntmen, and other rock bands from western mass and beyond. Its a great place for fans across the country (and globe) to interact!
Drunk Stuntmen were formed around the moonshine still in the backwoods of Western Massachusetts at a time when honest music was being mugged and beaten to death in a dark alley somewhere in the bowels of corporate America. Hoping to fill the void, the Drunk Stuntmen loaded their guitars, jugs, and pots and pans they'd been picking and pounding into their old beat up trucks and headed into town to spread a little roots rock salvation. It turned out to be just what the masses were starving for, a perfect blend of twang, energy, and pop. Some have referred to them as the band that would not go away.
The Stuntmen quickly became known up and down the East Coast for their searing live shows. Rocking with authority the three pronged guitar attack of Steve Sanderson, Terry Flood, and Alex Johnson, the Billy Powell - meets - Steve Nieve piano flourishes of Scott Hall, and the crisp rhythm section of bassist Scott Brandon and drummer J.J. O'connell complete's the veteran song writing style of these whiskey soaked crooners.
Drunk Stuntmens' latest release "Iron Hip", is their third full-length release, and the second to be enhanced. When you put the disc in your computer and click on tour dates it will download all the latest show dates and promotions directly from drunkstuntmen.com. "More Bad News" spent months in the national college charts in 2001, being played thousands of times on hundreds of college radio stations across the nation. With countless scores, compilations, and movie soundtracks under their belts, the Stuntmen are a force to be reckoned with, and it is only a matter of time until you will come face to face with this Keg Kicker Six.
.. Taping policy: Drunk Stuntmen encourage taping of their live shows for personal and noncommercial sharing and blaring purposes. Some venues may put restriction or prohibition on taping. Such policy will likely overrule these three sentences, so please play nice. |
