As you may know, fake brain is a rock band in new york city. we have four members, and yes, they occasionally throb. we write songs that are a kind of slapstick psychotherapy, with occasional forays into surreal storyteing and snide commentary of the world at large.

If you like the Pixies, the Soft Boys and Robyn Hitchcock, Devo, Pink Floyd, the Flaming Lips, the Modern Lovers, Bob Dylan, MX80 Sound, AC/DC, B. Kliban, Kenneth Patchen, or Martin Amis, you might like us.

So take a look around. buy some stuff. read our comic book. find out more than you'll ever need or would want to know. If you have something to say or wish to be on our mailing list, drop us a line. If you want to have sex with us, we are certainly interested, but will have to check with our girlfiends/spouses first.
