Diary of a Rock and Roll bass player Vol1. (9-16-2
center content 9/17...played The Baystate Hotel last night with Chupacabra Jr., man are they fucked up Dave had his pom-pom pants on and accosted the audience for the entire set.

...I broke a string in the middle of the first song...good thing I brought my other bass, right?

Well I broke a string on that one in the middle of the third song. What to do? Well the ever generous boys(Scott) from Chupacabra found in their hearts to loan me a third bass, even after seeing what I did to the first two. Well that third bass lasted me the rest of the set , unfortunately my amp decided to burn up right before our last song.Dammit! Well the lights came on to the sound of my amp screeching and howling and that was our grand finale.

All in all it was a great show ...and it only cost me about $250 to play it. rock on.

  Fantastic ramblings SHOW DATE: Sept 16th & ???, 20
center content ...I just wanted to know, who the hell were those bellydancers at the last show? There's nothing that makes me play better than nearly naked women. So...I decided to try and impress them by walking out into the audience but instead, spun around, fell over the PA moniter and landed flat on my back. The crowd liked it but I wouldn't say it was too smooth. I had just recovered from impaling myself on Holidays' drumset at an S&M party a couple of weeks earlier.

Oh my point...don't drink something that has a hand written label. ut.

Broke down them dirty little drunks! (9-16-2000)
center content Three beers down I grabbed a shot of jeagermeister and one more Budweiser before sitting down at the drums. A perfect way to start a set if you ask me. I realized there's one really big draw back to playing the way I do. Sweat! I blinded myself somewhere around the second song with what came off my head, but from what I could hear people were having a great time. I think It might be time for the Alex Van Halen head-band look. Ben broke two strings and blew out his head. Craig broke all his strings and blew out some blood vessels. Fun night

  What a hangover SHOW DATE: Oct.5th, 2000
center content Well...I guess that this wasn't really a show but it was a good time. It all started at the Office, which is actually a bar that no one knows about. Couple, two three beers later we head to Hugo's, a bar everyone knows about, for another couple, two three and finally on to the Baystate where our friends the Inskirts were playing their chick powered rock. They had finished their set a bit early so when we got there we only got to hear the last two songs. Staggering at this point, I vaguely remember being goaded onto stage with the other STRIPPERS to finish off the night with some rock. We played a fast and vicious song on the Inskirts stuff and it was hilarious. I think I was playing a pink guitar way up around my neck. What a night and what a hangover.

  EAT THE GREYHOUNDS
center content The benifit for saving the Greyhounds: I think the people running it were on to our antics. I think they made up a contract just for us...telling us we couldn't break things or drink any alcohol. Now that in my eyes is a big mistake because you want us to be at least a little sedated or else things get out of hand...and it did. Starting the show out with a "thank you to the people who invited us to play at the EAT the Greayhounds benifit" made a few jaws drop. I guess thats punk rock.

  Ouch
center content ...played an acoustic set at some shitty little record store...went to Hugo's...ran into Matt Pierce from The Unband....gave him a ride home...Mr. Fantastic almost went out the back door of the bus with my guitar...got a bite from Matt's girl's dog Tequila....don't remember much else...

oh yeah ....throb throb throb.
