On September 15, 2001, head to the Pines Theater at Look Park for an afternoon of music and merriment at The Pioneer Valley Family Bar-be-que (PVFBBQ) from 1 to 6pm. It’s a unique opportunity to catch a joint performance of some of the Valley’s favorite rock acts. Five bands total, The Stone Coyotes, Drunk Stuntmen, The Aloha Steamtrain, Ware River Club, and Ray Mason Band are teaming up to bring their musical energies back to the Valley and beautiful Look Park. After some serious national success, they’re ready to throw down with their hometown fans.

And if you still haven’t heard these guys, here’s what you’re missing. Reviewing The Stone Coyotes, The L.A. Weekly wrote, "Poised to be the coolest husband-wife-and-son rock and roll trio ever...Those wary of a hype short on substance should rest assured - this family has the chops to back it up..." On the Drunk Stuntmen’s original score for the 1924 silent film Peter Pan, the Northeast Performer wrote, "the Drunk Stuntmen pulled off their most ambitious stunt yet..." Each screening sold out with crowds ranging ages from 0-100.

If you’ve seen any of these guys at the annual Transperformance concert, you know you’ll have a blast at the PVFBBQ. Something for the whole family at the most scenic venue in town. Balloons and face painting for the young at heart. Tix are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Children under 12 are invited free of charge.
