Every so often, a band comes along that makes us remember what pop music is all about -- fast, fun, sing-along tunes. Make Lisa Rich has emerged as a self-proclaimed leader of this genre. Drawing influences from 60's pop artists like Tommy James and the Shondells, the Hollies, the Animals and the Ronnettes; the 70's slick stylings of Elvis Costello and Joe Jackson; the New Wave Punk and college rock of the 80's (Pixies, R.E.M., Replacements, etc.) and, of course, the undeniable grunge-pop sounds of the 90's - from Nirvana and Radiohead to Sloan, Weezer and the Gigolo Aunts - MLR packs one Hell of a Power Pop punch!

Another Venus
Now in their third ear, MLR has released their sophmore effort, "Another Venus". This record differs from the first in that "Another Venus" captures the same songwriting, arrangements and instrumentation but packs an AC/DC-sized wallop.
