American Trashed

Musical trends come and go, but there is something that never goes out of style-a truly great rock-n-roll band. From the Rolling Stones to Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses, there has always been a band whose music has captured the energy and essence of what rock-n-roll is all about. These kinds of bands have been noticeably absent from the music scene in the nineties--until now! American Trashed is poised to carry the rock-n-roll torch.

After years on the music scene in various bands, the boys from American Trashed finally got together when Steven Broderick became available after leaving his band. "What do you do when one of the best singers around leaves his band?" For JØE, Keefer, and C-Bone the answer was a no-brainer. "You grab him and buy some tape!"

That’s exactly what the members of the band JØE did. Setting up at Joetown Studios with singer Broderick,and a pile of attitude, the "jam"session produced American Trashed’s first track- "Time Bomb". Realizing that there was a chemistry between them that none of the band members had ever experienced before, they had a feeling that this could be something special.

"After the first weekend we had to see if this was just a fluke" recalls Keefer. "We locked ourselves in Joetown for a weekend (with a healthy supply of stimulants) and just rocked." The rest is history.
American Trash had no intention of chasing the latest musical trend; they just play what comes naturally to them. "We all have a great lust for rock-n-roll bands like AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that our sound has certain similarities" proclaims Broderick. JØE adds that American Trashed brings out what he calls "a sense of reckless abandon that is all too absent in today's Rock'n'roll"... "It takes you back to the days of being a teenager in heat, partying and havin' fun!," summarizes C-Bone.

With a melodic sound that is filled with raw energy and explosive power that must be seen live to fully appreciate, American Trashed will be the next band that cannot be defined by current trends. This is a band for the ages!
